Lacey Cracks 3 HRs for Buckeye Local

Trey Lacey went yard three times in a Buckeye Local Panthers victory over the San Bernardino Flight at Ballpark of San Bernardino.
"I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit."
For the day, the Buckeye Local catcher went 4-for-5 against San Bernardino with 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Panthers to the 9-4 win.
"I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out."
Trey Lacey hit a solo-shot off Robert Velasquez in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Robert Velasquez in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Leo Fonseca in the 9th.
Lacey is hitting at a .259 mark this season. His stats show 26 home runs, 50 RBIs and 48 runs scored. He has played 52 games for the Panthers.
