Clarke Rips 3 Homers Against Rockers Wednesday, June 17th , 2026 Fans are still buzzing after Tiverton whipped the Plymouth Rockers by the score of 11-6 at Field of the Colonels. Nick Clarke smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the shortstop bashed out 3 hits in 5 at-bats, had 6 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Clarke said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Clarke said. "Three is just... wow." Nick Clarke hit a two-run home run off Ramon Ramos in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Ramon Ramos in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Willie Salcedo in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and struck out in the 7th. So far this year, Clarke is batting .406 with 39 home runs, 98 RBIs and 67 runs scored. |
