Cubs Mathematically Out of Playoffs Friday, August 12th , 2022 Not even the most diehard Franklin Cubs fan thought the team had much chance at the playoffs this year. But now even the faintest hopes have been put to rest, as the Cubs were mathematically eliminated from the postseason hunt today. The Cubs have missed the playoffs 16 times in their 22 years as a ABA Rookie League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2019. In the last 10 seasons, the Cubs have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
