Rodriguez Stretches Hit String to 33 Thursday, June 11th , 2026 Chad Rodriguez has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 19-year-old Ft. Wayne Earthquakes shortstop extended his streak to 33 games, going 1-for-4 as Ft. Wayne got the best of the Picture Rocks Raptors at Earthquakes Stadium, 14-3. "Chad has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Earthquakes manager Du-sung Moon said. Chad Rodriguez struck out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th and flied out in the 6th. Looking at his present stats, Rodriguez has compiled a .471 batting average in 26 games with a .521 on-base percentage, while hitting 10 home runs and driving in 31 runs. |
