Robinson Extends Hit Streak to 25 Games

Seth Robinson, left fielder for the Riverside Wolverines, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games with 3 hits in his club's 15-11 victory over the San Bernardino Flight at Ballpark of San Bernardino.
"Not the outcome we wanted," San Bernardino manager Nick Neumann said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Seth Robinson grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, walked in the 8th and walked in the 9th.
On the season, Robinson is batting .388 with 13 home runs and 65 RBIs. He has played in 60 games.
