Mark Mauro Out for Season Wednesday, August 3rd , 2022 A blow for Mark Mauro today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 9 months with a torn posterior cruciate ligament. Mauro suffered the injury running the bases. Although officials from the Riverside Wolverines are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Mauro's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. In 38 games this season, Mauro has batted at a .253 pace with 25 hits and 7 home runs. |
