Hit Streak Now at 32 for Rodriguez Wednesday, June 10th , 2026 Chad Rodriguez's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Ft. Wayne. The 19-year-old shortstop extended it once again, this time bringing it to 32 games with a 1-for-2 performance against the Picture Rocks Raptors. The Earthquakes won the game, 23-0. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Chad Rodriguez singled in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 4th and struck out in the 5th. This year, Rodriguez is hitting .480 with 10 home runs and 31 RBIs in 25 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .527 with 9 walks and 28 runs scored. |
