Porretta Wins SC Top Pitcher Award Friday, July 1st , 2022 Brad Porretta really put his best foot forward in June with 5 wins and 1 loss and walked off with the Pitcher of the Month honors in the Southern Conference. When he got the start for the Haviland Thrashers, it was good news for his club, but bad news for the opposition. In 40.2 innings of work, Porretta limited opposing batters to 20 base hits and a .142 batting average. He notched 31 strikeouts, issued 11 walks and had a 3.10 ERA.
