3 Home Runs for Sawyer Sunday, August 25th , 2019 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Ballpark of Haviland buzzing, Haviland Thrashers left fielder Billy Sawyer blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 9-3 win over the San Bernardino Flight. "Everything was clicking," Sawyer told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Sawyer shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Thrashers manager Edgar Hernandez said. "Billy played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Billy Sawyer hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 4th and flied out in the 6th.
