NC Starter of the Month Goes to Underwood Wednesday, September 1st , 2021 Last month's cream of the crop on the mound was Brian Underwood of the Moriarty Suns. He captured the Northern Conference Pitcher of the Month award for his outstanding performance in August. Underwood started 6 games, threw 42 innings, yielded 21 hits and logged a 5-0 record. He put down 38 batters on strikes, walked 13 and compiled a 1.29 ERA. Opposing teams batted .148 against him. This season in 28 starts, Brian Underwood has a record of 18-1 with 151 strikeouts in 199.2 innings and a 1.85 ERA. |
