NC Presents Batter of Month Trophy to Romero Wednesday, September 1st , 2021 Mario Romero may be much younger than other hitters in the Northern Conference, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 22-year-old Plymouth left fielder hit .344 with 16 home runs, 36 RBIs and 21 runs scored. This season, Romero has posted a batting average of .362 with 29 hits in 80 at-bats, 20 home runs and 45 RBIs. He has also scored 27 runs, walked 13 times and compiled a .453 OBP. |
