He socked 2 hits in today's 17-2 triumph over Abingdon at Mapleton Yards. "34 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Raney said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." David Raney grounded out in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
