Valdez Hit Streak Soars to 34 Games Wednesday, June 11th , 2025 The hitting streak for Ft. Wayne shortstop Jose Valdez now stands at 34 games, but the Earthquakes dropped today's contest 12-3 to the Picture Rocks Raptors. Valdez went 2-for-5 in the game. "Things went well for me personally," he said. "I got 2 hits and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Jose Valdez flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th and singled in the 9th. In 55 games this season, Valdez is batting .410 with 98 hits and 16 home runs. He has scored 69 runs and driven in 52. |
