Coenen Rips 3 HR Saturday, August 21st , 2021 Every now and then, everything just comes together. Timmy Coenen discovered that today at Cincinnati Grounds, as he smashed three home runs during the 7-1 Riverside Wolverines win over the Buckeye Local Panthers. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Riverside left fielder said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Coenen, who is tied for 8th in the SC with a .296 batting average, finished the day with 3 hits in 5 at-bats and 4 RBIs. Timmy Coenen hit a solo-shot off Freddy Valenzuela in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Freddy Valenzuela in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off David Morris in the 9th.
