Raptors Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Friday, August 20th , 2021 Even the most die-hard fans of the Picture Rocks Raptors will likely now start focusing on next year. The team was today mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. "We're disappointed," said Raptors second baseman Alex Cruz. "Not just for ourselves, but also for the fans that stick with us every year." Picture Rocks last appeared in the postseason in 2017. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 13 times in their 21-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Raptors have missed the playoffs 5 times. |
