Rockers Buried - Out of Playoffs Friday, August 13th , 2021 Erik Kirkman said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Plymouth Rockers after they missed the ABA Rookie League playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The Rockers have made the playoffs 9 times in their 21 years as a ABA Rookie League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2017. In the last 10 seasons, the Rockers have missed the playoffs 6 times. |
