McNicholas Crushes 3 Homers Against Lincoln

Chris McNicholas was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 11-2 Tiverton Colonels triumph at Lincoln Grounds.
The 21-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Colonels past the Lincoln Princes.
"One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," McNicholas told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate."
The center fielder went 3-for-4, rung up 5 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day.
Chris McNicholas flied out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 8th.
McNicholas is batting .255 this season in 44 games with 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has 35 hits in 137 at-bats.
