Cubs Mathematically Out of Playoffs Monday, August 9th , 2021 The Franklin Cubs will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 2021 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Franklin was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2019. In total, the Cubs have missed the playoffs 15 times in their 21-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Cubs have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
