Warren Hit Streak Soars to 25 Games Friday, May 30th , 2025 Billy Warren, first baseman for the Picture Rocks Raptors, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games with 2 hits in his club's 9-3 victory over the San Antonio Griffins at Griffins Field. "Not the outcome we wanted," San Antonio manager James Beatty said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Billy Warren singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th and singled in the 6th. This season, Warren is swinging the bat at a .424 rate with 78 hits in 184 at-bats. To date he has hit 14 home runs, scored 49 runs and driven in 48. |
