Hit Streak Now at 20 for McLean Sunday, May 25th , 2025 The Crystal Lake Killers may have proven to be mere mortals as they lost, 5-2, to the Picture Rocks Raptors, but Brock McLean continued to hit like a god. The shortstop collected 1 hit in 3 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. "McLean is playing great and is on fire right now," Killers manager Steve Warzecha said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins." McLean was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss." Brock McLean flied out in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th and struck out in the 7th. For the year, McLean has hit .329 with 3 home runs, 22 RBIs and scored 30 runs. |
