25-Game Hitting Streak for Blum Wednesday, May 21st , 2025 Steve Blum has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 20-year-old San Bernardino Flight left fielder extended his streak to 25 games, going 1-for-4 as San Bernardino got the best of the Haviland Thrashers at Ballpark of San Bernardino, 9-8. "Steve has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Flight manager Nick Neumann said. Steve Blum flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and walked in the 8th. So far this year in 38 games, Blum is hitting .445 with 5 home runs, 33 RBIs and 22 runs scored. |
