Raney Belts 3 HR Against Lincoln Tuesday, May 20th , 2025 Moncton third baseman David Raney blasted three homers at Mapleton Yards in the 12-5 Mounties victory over the Lincoln Princes. For the game, David Raney scored 4 times and knocked in 6 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Raney when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 4-for-5, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Raney told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." David Raney hit a two-run home run off Ignacio Reyes in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Ignacio Reyes in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Ruben del Cid in the 7th. At the moment, Raney is hitting .483 with 18 home runs and 59 RBIs. He has played in 38 games and scored 46 times. |
