Star of the Week Selected in NC Monday, June 5th , 2023 This week Hugo Merino, left fielder for the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates, hit his way to the Northern Conference Player of the Week Award. Merino put on a hitting clinic with a .480 average as he belted and battered NC pitchers for 12 hits in 25 at-bats, 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 11 runs. This season, Merino is batting .439 with 8 home runs. His totals include 17 RBIs and 16 runs scored. |
