Flight End Skiba Streak Saturday, May 10th , 2025 Dan Skiba's 23-game hitting streak has now come and gone. It was snapped today as the Jacksonville Nationals suffered a setback against the San Bernardino Flight, 7-3. Skiba went without a hit in 3 trips to the plate. He was visibly upset during a postgame press conference, but it appeared that the streak had little to do with it. "The hitting streak was one of those things where it was fun while it lasted, but I'm not going to lose any sleep about it tonight," he said. "On the other hand, I am going to lose sleep about dropping this game today." So far this season, Skiba is batting .403 with 11 home runs, 45 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has 54 hits in 134 at-bats, 18 walks and a .474 OBP. Skiba has played in 31 games. |
