NC Honors Sanchez, Best Hitter in June Thursday, July 1st , 2021 When Jose Sanchez stepped up to the plate in June he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Northern Conference Batter of the Month award. The young Terra Linda third baseman posted a .434 batting average with 12 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 17 runs. Sanchez also worked pitchers for 13 walks to post a .545 on-base percentage. This year, Sanchez has hit 18 home runs and posted a .318 batting average. |
