Renteria Shackles Whitby Wednesday, June 26th , 2019 Alberto Renteria had an impressive outing at Eláguila Stadia today, hurling the Abingdon Archers to a 3-0 shutout victory over the Whitby Bats. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Whitby skipper David Sawyers said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders." On the day, the right-handed Renteria yielded 7 hits and tallied 3 strikeouts with 1 walk.
