Underwood Twirls No-Hitter Against Cubs Sunday, June 27th , 2021 Is it better to be lucky or good? After leading the Moriarty Suns to victory, 1-0, and tossing a no-hitter over the Franklin Cubs, Brian Underwood didn't have the answer. "I don't know," Underwood said. "To do what I did today, I'm pretty sure it takes both." On his big day at Super Solarplex, Underwood fanned 9 and had 4 walks. And it seemed that when the Cubs managed to hit the ball hard, it went right at a defender. "That's how you get a no-hitter," Underwood said with a smile. "A lot of skill mixed with a little luck."
