Tuesday, May 6th , 2025
Dan Skiba has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 18-year-old Jacksonville Nationals second baseman extended his streak to 20 games, going 1-for-3 as Jacksonville got the best of the Haviland Thrashers at Ballpark of Haviland, 15-10.
"Dan has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Nationals manager Zack Glomski said. Dan Skiba grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, walked in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Ricky Vasquez in the 7th.
For the year, Skiba is hitting .431 with 11 home runs. His stats include 43 runs batted in and 39 runs scored.
