Poole Smacks 3 Out of the Park Friday, May 2nd , 2025 The San Antonio Griffins knocked off the San Bernardino Flight, 16-15, in spite of a fantastic performance by Flight second baseman Ronald Poole, who drilled three home runs but couldn't bring home the victory. "It's like going to the prom with the prettiest girl in school, having a great time, but then not getting a good night kiss," Poole said later. Poole finished the day with 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 4 runs batted in and 3 runs scored. Ronald Poole hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 1st, walked in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Edwin Torres in the 9th. Thus far this year, Poole has hit .463 with 9 home runs and 17 RBIs. |
