Hits Galore: Johnson Drills 5 Hits Friday, May 2nd , 2025 David Johnson had an answer for everything the Lincoln Princes threw at him at Club Circle Park. The Borrego Springs right fielder went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Rams a win, 22-8. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Johnson said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." David Johnson hit a two-run single in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Sergio Espanol in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Looking at his stats this year, Johnson has compiled a .471 batting average, while hitting 2 home runs and driving in 22 runs. He has played in 22 games and scored 21 runs.
