20-Game Hitting Streak for Perez Friday, May 2nd , 2025 Edgardo Perez of the Ft. Wayne Earthquakes tagged 4 hits in today's 20-14 loss to the Jacksonville Nationals at Nationals Park to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Edgardo Perez struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Rico Hache in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, doubled in the 7th, doubled in the 9th and walked in the 9th. Thus far this year, Perez is batting .461 with 5 home runs, 24 RBIs and 22 runs scored. |
