Koerner Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Tuesday, April 29th , 2025 Curt Koerner has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Ft. Wayne catcher picked up 5 more today against the Juneau Sled Dogs and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Earthquakes won the game, 17-2. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Curt Koerner grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a three-run triple in the 7th and doubled in the 8th. This year, Koerner has hit at a .571 clip with 48 hits, 9 home runs, 34 RBIs and 31 runs scored. |
