20-Game Hitting Streak for Scoville Saturday, June 12th , 2021 The number just keeps getting higher. Sunrise Manor left fielder Chris Scoville has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 4 at-bats as the Sunrise Manor won the game, 5-1, over the Riverside Wolverines at Wolverines Ballpark. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Riverside manager Chris Rauch said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Chris Scoville struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Gavin Feeley in the 6th and flied out in the 7th. At present, Scoville is batting .291 with 64 hits and 19 home runs. He has knocked in 37 runs and scored 35 times. |
