SC Star of the Week Picked Monday, June 7th , 2021 A hot-hitting week got George Coler the Southern Conference Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Chuluota left fielder slammed them for a .478 average, 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 5 home runs, 14 RBIs and scored 7 runs. In the postgame press conference, Coler shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." So far this year, Coler has 15 home runs and a .319 batting average. |
