Sanders Belts 6 Hits Sunday, June 6th , 2021 No matter what the Abingdon Archers threw at him, Jaylin Sanders hit it. He easily handled Archers pitching, going 6 for 6 and helping the Bellflowers triumph, 12-7, at Reagor Dykes Stadium. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Sanders's quip, Archers skipper Eric Collier said he "would take him up on that next time." Jaylin Sanders singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
