Bats Xavier Hernandez Will Miss Season Tuesday, June 1st , 2021 When Whitby starting pitcher Xavier Hernandez was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Bats-Colonels game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Hernandez had sustained a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for about 13 months. To date Hernandez is 0-2 in 3 starts with a 7.82 ERA and has 10 strikeouts in 12.2 innings. |
