Jacksonville's Retana Gets SC Player of the Week Monday, May 1st , 2023 What a week it was for Edwin Retana! The Jacksonville second baseman took Southern Conference Player of the Week honors after wearing out the pitchers with a .458 batting average in his recent games. Retana registered 11 hits in 24 at-bats as he cracked 6 home runs and drove in 14 runs. To date Retana has chalked up a .278 average with 12 home runs, driven in 30 runs and scored 20 times. |
