Vega Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, May 24th , 2021 All week long nobody could get Andres Vega out in the Northern Conference and that is the prime reason he was voted the Player of the Week. The Whitby third baseman took home the trophy by blasting 15 hits in 30 at-bats for a .500 batting average, driving in 17 runs and scoring 6 times. On the year, Vega is hitting .300 with 48 hits, 24 home runs, 49 RBIs, .379 OBP and has scored 32 runs. |
