5-Hit Game for Marinez Tuesday, April 15th , 2025 Wolverines second baseman Alejandro Marinez had his way with San Bernardino pitching at Wolverines Ballpark and mauled them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Flight ruined his great day by toppling the Wolverines, 10-7. "I had a great day, but you've got to give San Bernardino credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Marinez did today," Flight skipper Nick Neumann said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Alejandro Marinez struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
