Week's #1 Player: Ft. Wayne's Waterman Monday, May 17th , 2021 Jeff Waterman is respected by most Ft. Wayne Earthquakes fans for his no-frills style of play. The 22-year-old first baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Southern Conference Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .476 average (10-for-21) with 4 home runs, 11 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This season, Waterman has delivered 42 hits in 140 at-bats for a .300 average with 11 home runs. He is getting on base at a .413 clip and his totals also include 33 RBIs and 30 runs scored. This year Waterman has played in 37 games. |
