Marshall Selected Top Player Monday, April 24th , 2023 Ronnie Marshall must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .538 clip, then the Chuluota third baseman finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the SC Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Marshall batted .538 (14-for-26) with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs. So far in 2023 Marshall is batting .438 with 6 home runs, 11 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has 32 hits in 73 at-bats and a .474 OBP. |
