Cornwall's Martel Snags June Batting Title Wednesday, July 1st , 2026 At only 24 years of age, Greg Martel could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Cornwall Royals, as June was one to remember for the shortstop and he has captured the Western AA Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .443 with 4 home runs, 20 RBIs and 20 runs scored. For the season, Martel is currently batting .401 with 6 home runs and 33 RBIs. In 47 games he has reached base at a .423 rate and scored 29 runs to date. |
