Red-Hot Martel W-AA Player of the Week Monday, June 29th , 2026 It was an extraordinary week for Greg Martel of the Cornwall Royals. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .541, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Western AA. Last week Martel went 20-for-37, racked up 1 home run and 5 RBIs and scored 8 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Cornwall shortstop. For the year, Martel is batting .396 with 72 hits and 5 home runs. He has scored 27 times and driven in 32. |
