Red-Hot July Lands Bender Batting Prize in SC Thursday, August 1st , 2024 For a rookie just breaking in, Jamie Bender certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the SC Batter of the Month award for July. The 21-year-old third baseman for the Nashville Lasers hit .361 with 6 home runs, 21 RBIs and 25 runs scored. This season in 33 games, Bender has hit at a .351 clip with 46 hits, 6 home runs, 22 RBIs and 30 runs scored. |
