McKinstry Wins NC Honor Monday, July 27th , 2026 When it came to hitting the baseball, Steve McKinstry was in a class by himself in the National Conference this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding first baseman for Oakland tagged opposing pitchers for a .750 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 6 hits in 8 at-bats, 1 homers, 3 runs scored and 3 RBIs. So far this year, McKinstry is batting .271 with 22 home runs. |
