Chairez Pitches 5-0 Shutout Tuesday, June 22nd , 2021 Santa Fe Chiefs hurler Cesar Chairez was at his best as he beat the Cincinnati Royals, 5-0. "He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said Cincinnati manager Brad McBride. "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit." Chairez, who is tied for 10th in the AC in complete games with 3, fired a 6-hitter and totaled 4 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout performance.
