Gross Hurls Sandusky to Shutout Victory Tuesday, June 8th , 2021 Travis Gross bent a little, but he didn't break against the Oakland Invaders. The Sandusky Seagulls pitcher hurled a 6-hit, 8-0 shutout in a fine performance, surrendering no walks and tallying 3 strikeouts. "Travis is good at getting out of jams," Seagulls manager J.R. Wilson told reporters after the game. "He's almost more effective when he gets guys on base or gets behind in the count, because he uses your aggressiveness against you."
