McKinstry Picks Up Best AC Batter Honors for May Tuesday, June 1st , 2021 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 25 Steve McKinstry has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Santa Fe Chiefs star can enjoy the numbers he put up in May, which have garnered him the nod as the American Conference Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .352 average with 8 home runs, 19 RBIs and 15 runs scored. McKinstry is currently batting .288 with 10 home runs and 30 RBIs. |
