Benavidez Spins 1-0 Shutout Monday, May 31st , 2021 Mario Benavidez of the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles humiliated the Santa Fe Chiefs at Leatherback Park, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 9 hits. "He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Santa Fe manager Brandon Harper, after the game. Benavidez whiffed 3 and walked 3 in the 1-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Benavidez said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
