Powered by Yoshitimo Hirata, the Jacksonville Nationals downed the Riverside Wolverines, 10-9. Hirata hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Nationals. Jacksonville is now 78-58, while Riverside is 88-48.

The game was all tied up in the top of the 13th, until Hirata delivered big-time for Jacksonville, stroking a dramatic solo home run off Toru Bando. The game-changing hit put the Nationals on top, 10-9.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Riverside manager Matt Augustus.
